![]() ![]() The Construct has two attacks- a swat attack that targets the first two rows and a laser attack that attacks a single column. Super Tanks work just fine, or if you are levelled up enough, Heavier Tanks will also get the job done for zero nanos. TKs are all about offense, so you need heavy armor on the front to protect them while they are taking care of business. They need to be ranked to at least R4, but R5 is suggested to ensure that you get the battle over with before the trash heap leaves your formation in a smoldering pile. ![]() And what better way is there to accomplish that than using Tank Killers? None. To put it bluntly, you have to blow that bad boy up, and do so as quickly as possible. The Construct is immune to freezing and stunning and resistant to all damage types besides explosive. This is easier said than done, so let’s talk about some strategies that will aid in victory and minimize the losses. If you want R6 wimps at level 30, you need to defeat the Ancient Construct. Laurels are needed to rank units up to level six. Laurels are particularly of note, because this is the only place, besides Battle Strike rewards, for lower level players to obtain them. There is also a small chance that “fragments,” powerful units that can be used by the player, can be won when the Construct is defeated. When defeated it drops gold, gears, bars, widgets, and laurels. The Ancient Construct is especially valuable early in the game. ![]() These monsters are not just here for the free beer- they present a challenge that is handsomely rewarded to the player brave enough to face them and strong enough to defeat them. Luckily, digging around here has disturbed some of the ancient hardware- initially a Jurassic sanitation engineer called the Ancient Construct and later, at level 50, a security robot called the Ancient Sentinel spawns here. Relatively early in your trek through Battle Nations, a mysterious area called the Ancient Ruins is discovered. ![]()
